Poker is a kind of gambling and many countries have age restrictions. In many countries, you need to be at least 18 years of age to enter a casino and play casino games, including poker. In some countries, it is 21 years. By the way, what is the legal age for playing poker, or gambling for that matter, in your place?

In the united kingdom it’s 18Plus allowed to gamble

In Canada the legal age to play poker is 18. I've been playing online poker since I was 14. I started playing with my mother's name/information.

The government and most casinos say it is 18, some casinos only allow patrons who are over 21, and the streets say as long as you have money and know someone who can put you in a game you are good.

Table games are illegal here.

Of course, there are backrooms, but you have to know how to get in and they are very hard to find in the first place.

Well, in my region, the legal age for playing poker is 18. It caught across all kinds of casinos. Be it online or brick-and-mortar casinos. Police often go around to arrest the casino owners if they indulge in underage betting.

What I know is that age restrictions vary in different countries. In my home country,.I think it's 21. I know that most online poker sites often adhere to age verifications and that's fine!

In most cases, it's always 18. However, I have come across some casinos and online poker sites that have their own age restrictions. They are ypically 21 or older.

18 is the normal age restrictionsl for most countries. Some casino don't allow someone below 21 years to enter their casino. But online games, the age restrictions is simply a joke because it is very difficult to verify the actual age.

Yeah! Street only considers if your pocket is heavy. Am surprised when i saw younger children playing bet on betting shop. It is very unfortunate.

In my country, you can only get involved with Poker from the age of 18. That's the age of adulthood and it is assumed that you can make some financial decisions as regards your involvement in poker. I started playing poker at 21 years old though.
