For a poker site to be trustworthy, it should be a licensed site that has completed all legal formalities, including registering with the local authorities. The site also should have clear withdrawal rules, such as low long will it take to process withdrawals.

The first thing I do is check whether people actually trust the site, it's not the sweet adverts that they push everywhere. The reviews matter a lot. if too many people are complaining about delayed withdrawals or accounts getting locked for no clear reason, I'm out immediately.
