For me it’s Rounders. That movie made poker look way cooler than it probably is in real life. I love the whole underground vibe and Matt Damon playing with the sharks, all just stuck with me. I even tried learning Texas Hold’em after watching it and quickly realized that this wasn't real.

I like "Rounders" because it shows the psychological side of poker so well. The acting is so solid and the story is so real too. It teaches patience, reading opponents and strategy well, which is very important for poker players.

Casino Royal was really interesting. But my best movie is a Bollywood movie called Gambler (1971). It tells a story of a man who goes bankrupt and then wins back again.

I think Uncut Gems is the best movie that I have seen that is based on gambling. It captures the total reality in chasing losses. You see the main character always sleeping on a chance to walk away, always looking for a way to get back the small funds he staked and lost.

Life is like a game of poker: it is not about what cards you are dealt, but how you play them.
