Players wear sunglasses for psychological reasons. Psychological, it is difficult to read a player you don't see his eyes. Eyes can easily give player away. A very excellent pro poker player can pick tells from the opponent even when they cover their eyes. Some gestures like breathing patterns, betting patterns, and even hand movements can give enough tells for a smart poker player. I don't use glasses on the poker table. I also need my eyes to be clear to see the reaction of my opponent on the table.
