I'll update this thread regularly as I play online, and either make progress depending on how much I'm available to play. I feel like a thread where I update my results, and show progress instead of money goals will help me play better, and remove pressure I place on myself to reach these goals. As I play new poker sites in 2025 I'll post my progress as I build a bankroll on those sites. I'm currently only playing at StockPoker, and BasePoker. My current online poker bankrolls: StockPoker...
I decided to lock my old bankroll thread, and start another one. I will be using this thread to help me manage my bankroll, and follow my progress as I grind away at the poker sites I play. I'll try to update the thread every few days. Starting Bankrolls: StockPoker: $199.17 (After $80.4 is taken from my account for July leaderboard prizes) $2.20 royal rumble ticket x3 + $8.80 poker mania ticket SWCPoker: 50.11 ubtc (Cashing out 500 ubtc) CoinPoker: $0.30 BasePoker: $0
Before I go deep into this article. I do win more than I lose in tournaments. I often cash in most tournaments that I play, and when I do cash I usually bust early, or end up near the end. If you're new to poker I guarantee this article will improve your game, and help you become a winning player. If you want to succeed at online poker or poker in general it requires a ton of discipline. Playing poker will not always go your way, you will face lot's of bad beats. The key is never to give...
It's vital to have a good short stack game when playing tournaments, especially online. I regularly join online MTT's at the last minute of late registration, and when you join that late you're usually starting with a short stack. I look for a certain range of hands, and a good opportunity to double up. If it doesn't work out, on to the next one. Once you get that initial double up, you're in the game, and on your way to a min cash. You should be able to play a little tighter after a...
Extracting value from opponents is when you have a good idea, that your hand is the best hand, and you get the most value/chips back when you stack your opponent. You're trying to string them along when they have weak hands, and your hand is stronger without them making a better hand. It's good to practice making value bets, and it varies from player to player, not all players will call the same bets, or fold to them. Sometimes you need to change bet sizes to get value, or increase the...
I decided to write another article, because it's been awhile since my last one. This one will be focused on bankroll management, because I believe bankroll management has been instrumental to my success in online poker for 2024. I hope I see lots of run good throughout 2025. Before I started playing online poker again, I took a long mental break, and quit playing any poker. I returned with a vengeance, and I was determined to prove to myself that I can succeed long-term in poker, and have...
Any serious player approaches every game the same way, play to win. You adapt to your tables, but I think it's necessary to trust the process, and always play to win no matter the stakes. You can develop bad habits if you bring your B game instead of your A game. It's a good practice to work on your game regularly, and always try to improve. You can always get better regardless of your skill level. The way you approach poker whether it be live or online poker is vital to your success...
Anytime I cash or win anything worth posting on StockPoker , I'll post a screenshot in this thread as I run it up. ;) Here's a screenshot of my Poker Mania win last Sunday.
