Can a player be banned from playing poker anywhere in the world?

I'm wondering if it's possible for a Poker player to commit a crime like cheating or any other illegal acts when playing a game that's going to result in having the player banned from playing in any poker platform until the ban is over or it's even a permanent ban that ends the person's days in playing poker?

I don't think that is possible. Since we're in the age where someone can bypass any kind of restriction and register using another profile entirely.

It is absolutely not possible because poker doesn't have a central body like FIFA in football that can exercise rights throughout the entire football playing regions. Once poker don't have a central regulating body, it will never be possible.

I don't know why there's zero poker sites with captcha such as Cloudflare or HCaptcha on the sign ups/logins to prevent bots from logging in/signing up.

wow thats alot of accounts, i remember talk of only real names being used but thats only a couple sites and high rollers (online) it wont be too long til something like HCaptcha is implemented in my honest opinion, it needs to happen for integritys sake.

Captcha use to obstruct users friendly experience. Captcha can cause high bounce rate.
You know poker players and gamblers hate to wait. All the online poker sites don't want to lose customers, therefore it is better to leave the site like that without captcha!
