Sports are something most of us do in school, in some cases, we can choose the sport we wish to play in school and other cases, we are told what sports we will play.

When it comes to sports in school, did you play any sports? What sports did you play and was that your choice or something you had no choice over?

I played hockey in a league growing up. My school also got a hockey team in grade 8, and I played on that.

I stopped playing hockey in high school when I moved from Toronto to Orangeville.

I was stubborn, and didn't want to play for another team.

I played little league baseball when I was 10-13 years old. I wish I kept playing when i went to junior high and high school.

I played football, soccer, baseball, basketball, ran track and cross country. I really enjoyed sports as a kid.

Oh yes, I used to play soccer when I was in school, particularly high School. I even made it to the school team and represented them in a few interschool competitions ☺️

That's great! I didn't play on the scho;; team. I played for a club team.

Oh wow, yours is on a different level! What club was that? You probably could have gone pro if you wanted, lol.
Oh no lol, not tlike that. Thet were called club teams but they were just recreational. Like there were 4 clubs in Burnaby where I grew up. We played the other local clubs plus some from surrounding cities. Just general youth sports programs.

Oh, my bad. I thought you meant like professional club teams. Those are also nice, it definitely was fun while it lasted right?

Yes I loved every minute of youth sports. As I am sure you enjoyed representing your school teams.

Yes I definitely enjoyed it. I did sustain a serious leg injury, but that's the game for you. In the end, they were memories I will always cherish.

How long did it take you to recover from your leg injury?

I played soccer in school. I recall that it was a departmental tournament. We didn't win but we played well. Eventually carried the third position.

I played table tennis when I was in school. I played to a competition level. I even won a trophy for my school. After that, I have been in many local competitions. But I'm still learning through ropes. I can't say i'm a professional yet.

When it came to playing Sports in School i mainly played baseball.

No, I have never played a lots of sports during my school days. My school wasn't that big and they never used to arrange tournaments anywhere else. My primary school was a big one. However, I never participated in any games at that time.

My school got a hockey team when I was in grade 8, and I was on the team. We did pretty good, until one tournament where we got crushed. I didn't play on any teams throughout high school. I do regret that.

Even though I never played sports during my school life, I believe that schools should organize sporting events. These events should be promoted at a larger scale. There are so many schools that have a perfect team and those reams represent their schools. They compete with others schools and this could be quite entertaining. Unfortunately, this is not the case in my country.
