Your image is partly what others project on you. You can play tight strictly for one hour but one crazy bluff, could spoil everything. It’s even worse online because your avatars and usernames carry a lot of energy.

All of is under your control, and you should be able to recognize when players are playing a certain way towards you. Your table image is based on the hands you play, and how you play them. Typically players that only been playing a few hands, they're waiting for monsters.

I think part of your table image is controllable, like how often you play hands, bet sizing, reactions, and how talkative you are. But some of it gets created automatically by short-term results. Sometimes people think you’re wild or tight based on just a few hands.

Totally agree, the image you represent is under your control. However, most of the time, people are easily carried away while playing, and they end up becoming someone they never want to become. Most people make emotional decision, and they give an impression that they are emotional fool.

I think you control the general impression more than the exact image. In poker, you can choose how active, calm, or unpredictable you appear, but players still build opinions based on recent hands. Even if you’re normally tight, showing one bluff at showdown can completely change how the table sees you.
