Do you watch poker? Do you read books to freshen up your poker knowledge?

I believe experience is the best way to improve, but you also need have a good understanding of other aspects of poker such as betting patterns, and how to expose those patterns A.K.A bluffing. Bankroll management...etc.

I do study, and watch poker. I cant say I read a poker book. I have read articles on poker though, and discussed strategy in poker forums, and communities like this one.

I study poker through some training videos, hand analysis, articles, and strategy discussions on forums like this to constantly refine my skills in the game.

To study poker and improve your game, you engage in a multi-faceted approach. You smoke weed and listen to motivating music to stimulate your mind while closely analyzing your opponents’ actions and betting patterns. For example, you’ve noticed tendencies like opponents limping with aces when short-stacked, which once tricked you into playing the bully and raising the pot. This suggests you focus on observing behavioral cues, adapting to deceptive strategies, and reflecting on past hands to refine your decision-making and overall poker skills.

The best way I improve is by learning and reviewing the hand histories. I also gain insight by watching video.

I also think there is no other thing to study in order to improve your game than studying your past hands and analyzing how you make your decisions while playing. You can also watch instructional videos and live streams from experienced players to add to your knowledge

Watching poker games on YouTube is very intuitive and helpful to me. I don't read books because i believe everything is online. There is no knowledge or information you can't get for free online. I don't see any reason to be buying books while Google is there.

Ive read a poker book called "mammoth book of poker" and the sessions after it were some of my biggest winning mtt sessions ever (2015) in more recent times i found twitch during lockdown watching Fortnite clips on YT. during covid i noticed it was the same crushers at the same FTs every single day. i wanted what they were studying and found BBZ poker, ive been a member 5+ years now and have paid for content in the past. it pays for itself with the skills/game theory you learn. i havent really studied alot recently just played but it is worth it if you want to progress some in my honest opinion. stay open minded and help comes from all sorts of places. there is some good ebooks ive listened too while grinding in the past also. having friends and talking hands with balanced views and understanding is worth soo much as well tbh. with poker you get out what you put in, knowledge means alot when it comes to bbs

Before I played my first poker game, I went to the biggest poker room three times a week and spent 4 to 5 hours watching poker. That was my first foray into studying poker. That really helped me to learn the basics, devise strategies and get myself set to play poker. I still watch poker games a lot. And I also follow some high value YouTube channels on poker to improve my game.
