RunGood joins ClubWPT Gold for first online ring series

The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is set to kick off 2025 with an exciting new theme, Mission RunGood, and a groundbreaking online ring series in collaboration with ClubWPT Gold.

For the first time, the popular mid-major tour will expand into the online space, offering eight online ring events starting February 23. The series will culminate in an invite-only tournament on May 24, where final table finishers from both live and online events will compete for a $12,400 WPT Championship package.

The online series runs through May 18, leading up to an exclusive May 24 finale. Players who reach the final table of any RGPS ring event—whether live or online—will automatically earn a seat in this high-stakes showdown for the $12,400 prize package.

This partnership marks a new chapter for RGPS, bringing its signature ring events to the virtual felt for the first time.

Now you can deposit. When I posted that before when you couldn't, I think you could sort of consider that was something of an open beta. Now I still play there. Advantages: Fairly fishy, big prize pools. Disadvantages: software is poor and features are limited (my personal gripe is that you can't sort tournaments by anything other than start time). This is well-documented in the poker world, and it seems clear that WPT, despite presumably having way deeper pockets than other, humbler rooms, really skimped on putting a usable product out there. Also, while the prize pools are good, you have to wade through thousands of players to get to the money in tournaments.
