Typically, you should never show your cards, because other players can pick up information on how you play.

I also think showing your cards can have it's advantages. It can make players assume your a new player, because usually experienced players never share their cards.

I do it more than most players. I like adding salt too the wound when I pull off a big bluff, and I like having a target on my back. It makes it easier to get paid off when I have a really good hand.

Do you ever show your bluffs or hands after you won a pot that didn't reach showdown? How often do you show your hands?

I've done it once or twice, but I was sure that I was not doing it for those that fully understood the game. Its a big risk, but fun to try though.

Agreed, and if it's a big bluff sometimes it makes the opposing player punt off the rest of their chips.

I wouldn't show my hand if I was a serious player. A serious player would not show their hand in the least bit. With friends maybe though.

I would always show my cards once the play is done, I don't care if they pick up on what cards I call, they still wouldn't know if I decide to change up my method at the last moment lol.

I almost never show bluffs every now and again, however, revealing a bluff can throw people off guide and create great a wonderful opportunities.
