One of the biggest challenges that players across while playing poker is managing emotional highs and lows. It’s very overwhelming and sometimes it affects decision making greatly.

It took me a long time to be discipline with my bankroll, once I overcame that challenge my overall game has improved, and I no longer worry about losing my entire bankroll. Winning forever.

The biggest challenge I had with playing was how I viewed money and risks in relation to poker. I had to learn to detach my emotions from the money when playing poker. Another way that poker affected me is in my social life. My friends complained that I was less involved with them. I had to always take much time to study poker.

That's true! Poker is one of those games that can force a person to grow. Even me, I didn't know that poker is that difficult until those early swings nearly got me off track. Revenge playing was what I struggled with so much recently but I've been able to manage it well. Whenever that feeling kicks in because I've been losing, it's going to make matters worse.

Seriously, enough isn't being said about this that you have just mentioned because it's only a few people that know how to run away once they have won big. Others feel like it's their lucky day to keep going as long as possible.
