Yes, many people watch football on the weekend and this is a normal routine for many people. This also depends a lot on other factors as well. For example, if you have other things to do, then in such cases, it would be hard to watch football or other favorite sports.

The amount of data I have determine when I watch football. Sometimes I switch to highlights. I don't even stress myself especially when I have limited data or when the network is misbehaving. So, if I was able to catch the live match, it's fine, if not, life goes on.
