I have broken my bankroll rules multiple times. I have lost some clean profit due to this. Discipline is hard but it's very important. If you lack control, you will keep losing your games.

Sometimes I break my own bankroll rules. I end up breaking my bankroll rules when I am in winning streaks or even in losing streaks. Sometimes when you are too much involved in the game, it is always difficult to stay within your own rules.

You should have intermittently scheduled " shot takes " in your BR management. Say once a month find a game within the structure thst suits you best and play larger. This gives you something to look forward to and a "reward" for your good behavior. It keeps me in line the rest of the time.

All the time. Who doesn't? Last month I took a shot at 2/5 with like 10 buy-ins. Stupid, but it worked out. Next time it probably won't. I'm not proud of it, just being real. I think most players bend the rules when they're bored or on a heater.

Yes, I’ve broken my bankroll rules a few times, usually after a frustrating session when I convinced myself I could win it back quickly. It never ended well. Now, even when I feel that urge, I stop playing and come back later with a clear head.
