Solitaire is one of the earliest card games I played, I find it very relaxing and personal. I sometimes play poker and every time I play I feel some kind of pressure because every decision can be challenged by real opponents. Those who play poker enjoy that tension. However, I have also see a lot of people prefer quiet games. Do you see poker being more competitive than solitaire? Do you think solitaire will help improve your patience for poker?

My experience with solitaire is just playing alone with a computer, focusing on patterns and patience. Poker is more competitive because you face real opponents, adapt to their behavior, and make strategic decisions under pressure, not just against a fixed system.

Seriously, playing solitaire have never been my thing. If I'm being very honest, I don't think I've played solitaire more than 5 times since I knew about it but when it comes to poker, that's where the real interaction of competition thrives 100%.

Poker and solitaire are not even on the same emotional level solitaire is calm but once the real money is involved in poker, your blood pressure can rise instantly. Solitaire teaches patience , but poker will actually tests your mind whenever you are under pressure.
