Do You Always Update Your Apps When Available

Apps now push constant redesigns, feature changes, and UI experiments even when users seem satisfied. Why are tech companies obsessed with frequent updates? Do you always update apps as soon as updates are available?

I feel a lot of the time, it is not always an obsession when it comes to developers wanting to update their apps all the time, but a lot of the time it ends up being security that the developers are looking at when you see frequent updates.

I always update my apps as soon as I know they have an update to be sure that I know my app is safe and to be sure I always get the latest changes to an app.

It is very important when you have app or new update notification on app you need to do the update to avoid crash so I update my app frequently

I always update apps when the updates are available. I am not sure if updates actually are better but I do it out if habit

These constant app updates is very common nowadays. I just updated one banking app last week after a notification I received and next thing, the interface has changed completely and I can’t even find the transfer button again.

I always forget to update my apps and usually I'm on mobile data so they don't update automatically. When I go to my Play Store updates it'll show something like 40 updates.

I usually update apps that I use regularly. However, I don't pay attention much to updating apps that I am not using on a regular basis or the apps that I haven't used for a long time.

I only update the apps I use regularly. Most mobile apps force you to install updates if you want to keep using them anyway, so I usually don't have much choice.

My setting is on auto update of apps. Whenever there's a new version update available, it's updated immediately on my device.

If it is an app that I use frequently, I always update such apps as soon as I receive a notification that an update is available. If it is apps that I only use once in a while, I can stay two years without updating it.

One thing I don't joke with is app update, whenever there is a new app update, i always make sure i update the app.
