I use to get really mad when I lose big hands in a painful way. Now, after playing poker for more than half my life.
I have a different mindset/approach, don't risk what your not willing to lose, trust in the process, and don't break bankroll management.

I do mix it up a little bit, and if I have a few wins under my belt. Sometimes, I take shots in bigger buy-ins, then take a break if it don't work out.
Anytime, I start to feel frustrated. I take breaks. I had to learn that lesson the hard way, don't make poker while angry.

Do bad beats or losing on the river make you angry?

I get frustrated... but I have played so many millions of hands online that I know I have been on the winning end enough times that I am sure people blew up at me

It is inevitable not to get angry when you are losing a game but I've always learnt to roll with it and sometimes I take a break when frustration kicks in really badly.

There is this feeling that the poker gods just decide to be against me whenever I lose on the river. I get really angry and pained. My emotions always take over me. Playing a hand perfectly only to be taken out by a player that rode on luck is very painful. The emotional part of me always wants to keep playing to win my money back. But I have to let common sense rule for me to take some restraint.

Who doesn't? I get quite frustrated! That's one aspect of poker that get me really upset. Poer really depicts life's scenario. Some dude get lucky without doing real work and the hard beats get peanuts. Life is really not balanced.

I used to get mad at bad beats too, especially when a hand slips away on the river. Over time, I’ve learned to step back, stick to bankroll rules, and trust the process. Taking breaks when frustration builds is key because playing while angry only makes things worse.

Yes, I do get annoyed after a tough river card or a bad beat. I think that's a pretty normal reaction. However, the frustration is usually temporary. After a few minutes, I realize that variance is part of poker.

I’ve laughed at quite a few, wondering what the caller was thinking lol
But it’s a great opportunity to learn from this as part of the game Nothing is ever for sure or certain until that river.

I definitely feel frustrated sometimes, especially after a brutal river card. Bad beats are part of poker, though, so I try not to dwell on them for too long.

I like to actually guess outcome of what’s going to hit that river to bust my hand. It gives me a little satisfaction, knowing I got that right…smdh

I never got mad when I lost but I do get little angry and frustrated. Losing is a disappointment and when I am disappointed, it is natural for me to get little angry, however, the situation is temporary, and soon I take control over my emotions.
