This is one of the hardest lessons to learn, when you notice your steaming/tilting, take break or a breather. DON'T PLAY ANGRY/FRUSTRATED it'll likely turn out very badly.

Breaks help you refresh your mind, and it's a good practice to try, and implement. Develop good habits, and only play poker when you bring your A game, not your B game. Even a 15 minute break can do a lot for your mind.

Have you ever played poker while angry? Do you still do it? Any other thoughts?

I wouldn't play angry or drunk, I can just see myself throwing chips out and my opponents knowing I would have little backing for trying to bluff on possible big numbers in my hand.

I think I'd be better playing poker drunk lmao!! My angry scottish face would come out and scare the rest of the players hahahah

In angry mood we will be loser to the game since Poker needs to think and play. Did you ever won in angry mood? and how many times you lost the game?

If you are angry and you play poker at the same time, it can lead to poor decision making at the table and tilt can be so costly. In that case, I advise you to take breaks and step away when you are feeling frustrated or something.

Poker is more a game of psychology than skills and luck. Once you are emotionally unsettled, you moves will be erratic and uncoordinated. Once your opponents notice it, they will take advantage of it.

Playing poker when angry is really bad. You need to learn to control your emotions and take a break whenever possible. Tilt leads to rash and impulsive decisions that often bring very hefty losses.

When you are angry, you don't need to sit on the poker table to play. There is every tendency that you would bluff too many times. Or you would frequently make calls that are not correct. And you would lose because of that. Get yourself completely relaxed before you start playing poker.

I've definitely played angry before and it always ended badly. Now I try to catch myself earlier and just step away. Even a quick walk or grabbing some water helps reset my mindset. It's tough because you want to win your money back, but revenge poker never works.
