I just finished reading one article and honestly it made me sigh. I got confused with all the percentages and probability. I know maths helps, no argument, but sometimes people talk like if you don't become a calculator, you can't improve your game.😂 I believe understanding the basics should be enough for many casual players. So, later you can add more knowledge gradually.
 
No, it's not, but every piece of information, including poker math, can give you an edge. I understand enough poker math to calculate my outs and know basic probabilities, such as the chance of completing a flush draw by the river after the flop, which is roughly 35%.
 
I think learning the basics of poker math is definitely worthwhile. You don't need to be a math expert, but understanding things like pot odds, equity, and expected value helps you make better decisions.
