What are some common mistakes that new players make when they first learn to play poker? Are there certain ideas or strategies that cause them to make bad decisions during the game? I’d really like to hear your tips on how beginners can steer clear of these mistakes and get better at poker.

The most common beginner mistakes in poker include playing too many hands, ignoring the position, or failing to manage the bankroll effectively. A beginner in poker is usually too attached to certain types of hands and tends to favor such hands over the others. That should also be taken out.

Inability to manage the bank roll is the worst mistakes newbies use to make in poker games. A newbie should only invest fund he can afford to lose. Don't exceed your limit and make sure you follow the game with patience and consistency.

Being emotional can make a beginner directly tilt their game very badly, affecting their decisions. Staying calm and only adapting to the table dynamics is the best approach .

Life is like a game of poker: it is not about what cards you are dealt, but how you play them.
