What are the most common strategies used by experienced players in live poker games?

I am not an experienced live poker player but I have watched experienced playee and based on my observation I believ they usually stick to solid fundamentals instead of flashy moves. They play position well, value bet strongly, and avoid marginal spots unless they have a clear edge. A lot of...

How important is position at the poker table, and how does it influence your playing strategy?

Position is one of the most important parts of poker. When I’m in late position, I can play a wider range and apply more pressure. In early position, I keep things tighter and more cautious.

How do players typically read their opponents’ tells during a live poker session?

In live poker, players usually build reads by comparing how someone acts in different hands. If a player is normally calm but suddenly starts acting rushed or overly confident, that shift is easily noticeable.

Can poker strategy make you a better poker player?

Yeah, definitely. Learning poker strategy helps you understand why certain decisions make money long term instead of just guessing in the moment. Even basic things like position, bankroll management, and hand selection can improve results when lmyou start applying them consistently at the table.

How do you deal with losing streaks, and what strategies help you stay resilient?

When I hit a losing streak, I try not to immediately “win it back” because that mindset usually makes things worse. I’ll lower stakes and review whether I’m actually playing badly or just running into variance.

What resources do you recommend for improving your poker game ?

I’d recommend reviewing your own hands first because that’s where most leaks become obvious. Beyond that, you can also learn fro. poker forums, tutorial videos, and watching experienced players explain decisions helped me a lot. Even casual discussions with other players can improve your strategy

How much of your table image is actually within your control?

I think you control the general impression more than the exact image. In poker, you can choose how active, calm, or unpredictable you appear, but players still build opinions based on recent hands. Even if you’re normally tight, showing one bluff at showdown can completely change how the table...

What tech do you think is being overhyped right now?

I think a few things are getting overhyped right now, like fully autonomous self-driving cars, metaverse-style virtual worlds replacing normal social media, and the idea that AI will replace most jobs quickly. They all have potential, but real-world limits and user behaviour slow things down a lot.

Cash games vs tournaments: different bankroll strategies

I’ve never really played tournaments, so my experience is mostly with cash games. For cash games, I stick to a more steady bankroll approach since you can reload and control session length. Tournaments seem like a different mindset entirely with variance and long waits, but I just haven’t tried...

Can you manage multiple poker formats with one bankroll?

You can, but it will only works if you’re disciplined with how you separate risk mentally. You need clear limits for each format. Without structure, it’s easy to lose track and overextend yourself quickly.

Live vs. Online Bankroll Management: Key Differences and Adjustments

I have pretty limited online experience, so most of my understanding comes from general observation. As far I know, online poker usually needs stricter bankroll management because games move faster and variance can hit harder. I play live poker more, it is slow and relaxes, therefore, swings...

Do You Ever Deposit to Boost Your Poker Bankroll?

Sometimes, yeah, but only in a controlled way. If I’m running low and still want to play my usual stakes, I might top up my bankroll. I try not to chase losses though, so I set limits and treat it more like maintaining proper bankroll management than emotional reloading.

What will smartphones look like in 10 years?

In 10 years, I think smartphones will feel less like “devices you hold” and more like constant assistants around you. Screens may still exist, but they might be wearable. I also expect a big shift toward voice and AI-first interaction, where you don’t open apps as much, you just ask for things...

What are your favorite video games to play on console or PC?

Not a gamer kind but I play a gew games. One of my favorites is Genshin Impact. I usually play it on my mobile. I also like playing Valorant on PC.

What’s the next big shift after AI?

Hard to say for sure, but I think immersive computing, where AR and lightweight wearable devices blend digital content into daily life instead of pulling us into screens, will become more common. Another thing I expect is robotics moving into everyday environments, not just factories, but homes...

Your thoughts on a half-time show for the World Cup Final

I cannot see how half time show fits in a game of football. How would they do it, keep it under 15 minutes (which is the standard break time) or extend it to make more rooms for performers?

Which team will you be supporting in the FIFA World Cup 2026?

Maradona was ahead of my time, I saw him only on recorded match. I started watching Footbal when Messi was already limelight and since then I became a fan of Argentina.

What’s one strategy "myth" you believed when you first started?

When I first started playing poker, I truly believed that bluffing constantly was the key to looking like a strong player. After losing plenty of chips, I realized most low-stakes games are more about patience, value betting, and avoiding unnecessary hero plays.

Do You Take Breaks From Playing Poker

I don't play regularly and when I play it is usually between 7-10 days, sometimes even 20-30 days. At rhe table, sometimes I take breaks especially when I am losing. I usually join a game after 5-10 minutes

How do you play against someone who is clearly using a solver on their phone?

I usually avoid trying to out-level them with fancy plays. I stick to solid fundamentals, pay attention to timing and patterns, and focus on exploiting spots where they still play too mechanically or emotionally despite the solver help.
