    How does one overcome the fear of losing money?

    1st, have enough so the money doesn't matter. Don't play if you cannot afford it. The simplest way to look at money as units and not somehing you need for survival.

    It's absolutely the most important skill if your a playing professionally. Still important if a semi-pro or recreation player. The only time it's not a skill or important is if you are a billionaire.
