Most of the day. My day job requires it, so that's a huge chunk. Side hustles, in recent years, were largely online, though I'm between side gigs now. And where we live now, most commerce is done on the web too. So, yah, most of it.
Apples and oranges, really. Slots involves no real skill; whatever the RNG spits out is what you get. Poker is both skill and luck. I find slots pretty boring, while poker quite engaging. (Don't get me wrong; I ain't knocking slots players. A lot folks enjoy and the comps can be generous...
I can honestly say it never got anywhere near there. I like playing casino games, but it isn't my life, and it is a take it or leave it sort of thing. How much time I put into gambling has varied pretty wildly over my life time; from none to pretty regularly. But it has never been an obsession.
Not exactly. I have, in earlier days, hit the casino and partied hard to the point of burn out. Now, no. Maybe a little older and wiser or just too damn busy with real life. Who knows.
Making a $10 return per day on $200 in a traditional investment vehicle (e.g., stocks, bonds, mutual funds, et al.) isn't realistically going to happen. Some exotic, high-risk venture, maybe.
I suppose how you define "richer". More money in my pocket? Maybe, though not wildly so. But if I had not played, I would be poorer for not having all the fun experiences.
As most have seen on the news, Pope Francis passed away on Easter. Soon the Church will select a new Pontiff. (I was born and raised Catholic, so I follow news related to said, to some degree.)
Weird question: anyone, even informally, willing to bet who will be the next Bishop of Rome...
Interesting. Would you consider the US top-tier and, if so, what venues / opportunities would you suggest one pursues? Because a c-note a day largely on autopilot / online would be a fine side hustle. Thanks.
