Have you been consumed by playing poker to the extent where your personal welfare didn't matter to you again or anything about your family having any relevance to you? This is more like being obsessed with poker rather than having an addiction.

Have you seen any poker player whom have been affected this way?

To be honest, when I started, I cared less and never thought that a time would come when I would need the help of anyone. It took me time to begin to take a look at my family members and what they needed.

I got to the point where I had no social life, because of online poker. I've always taken care of my well-being.

I have a better approach to how I live my life, unlike during those dark times lol.

Getting addicted to it can be strange. I mean when you are at the point where you don't even know what you are going to do. I hate such moments where we have no life outside.

Gambling addiction can negatively impact both your personal life and your family’s well-being. It’s essential to maintain discipline while playing and to know when to stop.

I have witnessed players getting so engrossed in the game that they write off their personal lives totally but it that's definitely not me. I take care of myself , even my relationships. Actually, I have a friend that was addicted to the game and it made him ignore his family's well-being.

Gambling can surely have negative impacts when care is not taken. Sticking to limits and caring for self is paramount. I advise players to keep track of their own behavior and get help if need be.

I can honestly say it never got anywhere near there. I like playing casino games, but it isn't my life, and it is a take it or leave it sort of thing. How much time I put into gambling has varied pretty wildly over my life time; from none to pretty regularly. But it has never been an obsession.

I know my grandparents spent a lot of time at the card table, maybe a bit too much as they ignored their kids sometimes to go gambling.

There is a time am addicted to sports betting but during that period, i don't neglect my family. Am a family man and don't joke with my family. In the other way round, am addicted to family
