My goal is to build my bankroll from $0 to $2000 on StockPoker. I'll post regular updates in this thread as I play.
My bankroll is currently at $268. It would be higher, but I had to pay winners from our posting contest that ended earlier this month. I also have tickets in my account from freerolls, and I have a $33 Sunday main event ticket I've been sitting on(expires 2026). I never deposited on StockPoker, and cashed out twice since I started playing stock. My current bankroll I earned from freerolling, and buy-ins.
I'm down $3 on Stockpoker today(two buy-ins), and I'm going to play some ticket freerolls. I got 3 outered two hands in a row on the bubble in my last tourney. StockPoker bankroll currently at $275 + $33 sunday main ticket, $2.20 daily hyper ticket, two $1.10 step 1 tickets, two $2.20 step 2 tickets
I lost 4 buy-ins in a row(used 3 tickets), and won the poker community freebuy today. Two stingers on the bubble, all in with best hand, and got unlucky. I got a little frustrated, but tomorrow is a new day.
Current StockPoker Bankroll: $286 My tickets: $33 Sunday main ticket, three $2.20 step 2 tickets
I might play a few more ticket freerolls, until I get some run good back in my corner. I also haven't been playing any buy-ins higher than $2.20 unless I win tickets.

StockPoker Bankroll at $287. Only one min cash in daily hyper's, and a couple losses near the bubble. I'm going to take a break and try to make another deep run. I need to stop overplaying small pairs. I still haven't used any buy-ins over $2.20.
My StockPoker bankroll is currently at the $300 mark. Hopefully it'll be smooth sailing above $300. Winnings on the day were from poker community games.
I also have a $33 Sunday main ticket, $11 step 3 ticket, and a $2.20 step 2 ticket.

My bankroll got down to $293(including my last buy-in($1.10+$1.10 addon). I took 3rd out of 31 players in my last my game for $14 which brought my bankroll up to $307. I'll update again after my next win that brings me more profit, or if my bankroll drops below $300.
My progress has been slow, a lot of bouncing up, and down. I had some deep runs where I was close to getting a good score, but came up short. I do have a little profit since my last update, and I've been making sure I don't break bankroll management which has been huge for me this year.
I didn't notice this thread earlier. I'll definitely be following your progress (as now after replying, the thread will be watched).
I'm in a Discord where a user has a similar challenge of $100 to $5000, but through options contracts. So far, they're doing good.
So, I hope you can make it too! Just play as you preach here and you should meet the objective.
One thing that I learned from the options trader was that they let their emotions get to them, and instead of taking 30% profits, wanted 50%+. This led to him making poorer decisions and being on the losing side of that trade. So, it's good to know when to walk, whether options or poker, as you can still be up, but the greed will get to you if you let it.
Another bankroll update. My last two games put me up a nice little chunk. Finally got another decent score in a daily hyper(2nd for $24, $1.10 buy-in).

Finally up a little since my last update(downtime during update couldn't play as much). I lost $2.20 in the last game I played, but won $12.50 in our daily poker community buy-in. I also have $94 on DSP and cashed out $20 a few days ago.
After you reach $2000, are you going to increase your buy in, or play higher stakes, so that you can make larger gains (and larger losses) or continue raking in $10-20 a game?

I would suggest putting $1000 into SPY or another growth ETF for retirement instead of risky assets, or for gambling. Secure the bag for later in life.
Do the same with the $5000 after you gain $10,000, and soon enough, you'll have a dividend portfolio that makes $1000/month (reinvested and compounded over 20 years will give you a nice retirement).
Progress has been really slow since my last update. I can't seem to secure any good scores. I'm going to take a break to recoup. I got a little frustrated today.
I also haven't been playing as much since I'm waiting for some of my tickets to start working.
