Account banned after requesting for withdrawal?

A friend of mine told about his experience with one poker website I can't remember the name. He's been using it to play and lose but after he won and have a balance of $700, he requested for payment withdrawal but his account was suspended. When he tried contacting support, he was told the details of his account doesn't tally with his account for withdrawal which is why his account was banned and it's a permanent ban.

It has never happened to me, but if it did happen to someone, it’s not just because they might have failed to complete the verification process correctly; it’s because the website where they played poker is a total scam—a piece-of-garbage site. No legitimate site is going to block you out of the blue—especially when it’s time for a payout—just because of a verification issue or some other trivial reason. The only way you’d get blocked is if you were a blatant cheater, and even then, they would tell you the reason why.
