As far as I can say, neither is universally “better,” it depends on your goals and risk tolerance. Conservative bankroll management (more buy-ins) is safer. It protects you from variance, reduces stress, and is better for long-term growth.
Aggressive bankroll management (fewer buy-ins) can grow your roll faster, but it also increases the risk of going broke during downswings.

Aggressive bankroll is a heart attack 😂. I tried that style once, thinking I will double it quickly. It nearly wiped everything. Since then, I don't rush it. I do it gradually. Aggression can work for some people, but for me, I do not have that kind of liver.

I don't think one is better than the other, it depends on your skill level, risk tolerance, and goals.
Conservative bankroll management is safer. You use more buy-ins, move up slowly, and protect yourself from variance. It’s better for beginners or anyone building stability.
Aggressive bankroll management uses fewer buy-ins, lets you move up faster, but increases the risk of going broke during downswings. It’s usually only suitable for very confident, high-volume, or professional players.
