Fast tables and multi-tabling can push players into loose habits. How do you control hand selection, especially when playing online? Do you use preflop charts or self-imposed rules to stay disciplined during long sessions in online poker games?

In online poker makes you could be playing rubbish hands without noticing. Everything is so fast. I caught myself clicking out of boredom one night. Now I reduce tables and take breaks as much as I need it. Playing less actually helped me think more.

I do not have an answer, but i have a question. Do you play in the pCF games? I am just curious your table name. I like your posts also by the way. Great job.(y)

I'm not a fan of charts, or playing by the "book". I usually play tight, so no I don't think I play too many hands. However, I think it's important to adapt to action around you, which may result in widening your range. It also depends on the blinds, levels, and stack sizes when I factor in what hands are playable.

You should never try to force the action. Every move should be somewhat calculated. Good luck!

its hard to say "what too many hands is" theres soo many layers to cards and you are not always playing card ranges and can be targeting certain stacks and individuals also. the more chips you have the more you of your range you can play the less chips ranges have to tighten up....its a balancing act and just pray you get the timing right. Bawse is right also, you should never force action but you can 100% induce it!!! glgl on the felt and crush everything. everyone has different skills at different sizes and understand theory different too, part of the reason we love the game
