Barcelona face Alavés on October 31, and it will be interesting to see how they respond after their 2–1 defeat to Real Madrid. Playing at Camp Nou should give Barcelona an advantage, but Alavés have already shown they can cause problems in this fixture.
Barcelona have been scoring plenty of goals at home, although their defensive injuries could give Alavés a few opportunities. The visitors have struggled for wins recently, but their narrow defeats suggest they might still make the game competitive.
My prediction is Barcelona 3–1 Alavés. I expect Barcelona to control much of the match, but I wouldn't completely rule out an Alavés goal.
