Beating the sit outs in online tourneys

Nobody likes to play poker with sit outs, but you should be able to outlast them, and typically run deep if there's a lot of sit outs.

You often only get sit outs in micros, freerolls, or if a player is deep stacked.

What are your thoughts on players that sit out in online poker games? Do you think all players should be able to beat/outlast sit outs?
