I believe poker is a kind of gambling, I cannot get involved with gambling as a way to make money, I cannot take it as a profession. I can play for fun and entertainment but not as a profession. What about you, can you play poker as a profession? Can you generate stable income as a poker player?

You make sense to me although I maintain a different position from you. In short, I am currently watching a lot of YouTube channels just to improve my skills in poker. I have seen a lot of professional poker players succeed. I don't see poker as an entirely a gambling activity because it requires your skills too.

Yes, totally on the same page with you. Poker has luck in it, something you can't deny but skill and strategy are what would matter a lot in a long term. Just put some time and practice into it and continuous learning is what it takes to become a pro poker player.

I won't mind doing that once I am mentally ready. There are a lot of professional poker players that I follow and the good thing is that those guys are making lots of money from playing this game.

No because I don't play poker but I think becoming a professional is definitely possible for dedicated players. It takes serious skill, discipline, bankroll management, and emotional control. You'd need to consistently win over long periods and treat it like a real business. It's not for everyone though.
