Don't spam advertisements, don't put post any advertisements, at all.
Just by commenting your Facebook page is already linked to the comment.
Try to make posts that relate to what their posting about it helps you get more loyal followers, and ask questions.
Tag people with responses relevant to their comment.

Any other techniques I'm leaving out for promoting pages on Facebook? How do you promote your pages?
