Burnout can make you lose focus, so you need to take breaks. I find regularly taking these breaks helps me to stay fresh and not do things in an impulsive manner. It is important to notice when burnout creeps in, and to take time to step back and recharge.

Not exactly. I have, in earlier days, hit the casino and partied hard to the point of burn out. Now, no. Maybe a little older and wiser or just too damn busy with real life. Who knows.

I've been taking a few days off, because I haven't had the motivation to play. I think I was feeling a little burnt out from online poker, and I needed to recoup. It helps me come back with a vengeance. Do you get burnt out when you play a lot of poker? How often do you take breaks?
If you can be able to take break that simply means you are not yet addicted. Gamblers who are addicted don't know when to quit and have some rest.

Burnout is real, and taking breaks refreshes the mind and prevents tilt. It's great to be able to identify when we need a break and act on it. Regular breaks refresh the mind to help us make a better decision

I don't joke about taking some days off when I am not getting the desired results out of the games that I am playing. This is the same with poker as once I noticed that I am feeling burned out, the basic thing to do is to relax and stay off for a couple of days or even weeks.
