To be honest, whether the table is loose or tight, I still tend to wait for strong hands, but against overly aggressive players, I’ll open up my range.
In the early stages, when the blinds are low, I focus on making smart decisions and capitalizing on mistakes to extract value. I’m always looking to take advantage of good situations, and whether the table is soft or tough doesn’t really change my approach.
If the right opportunity presents itself, I’m always playing to win—no matter if it’s early or late in the tournament.
How about you? Do soft or tough tables affect how you play early in a tournament?
