I think success can absolutely affect discipline. After a heater, it’s easy to feel like you're playing better than you actually are and start forcing marginal spots or loosening up too much.
 
I actually think winning streaks are more dangerous than losing streaks for some players. When everything is working well, a lot of people start believing they can outplay the laws of probability. Before you know it, they're already chasing weak spots.
 
It happens tl me sometimes. After a big winning streak, it's easy to become overconfident, play too many hands, or take unnecessary risks. Running good can be just as dangerous as running bad if it makes you ignore solid decision-making.
