Do you still watch tv or do you prefer to stream shows or movies on a streaming platform? It’s been a while since I actually watched something on regular Tv.

What about you?

I prefer streaming—haven’t watched regular TV in ages!

I'm a mix of both, I stream shows and movies, but I still watch live sports and news on TV.

I stream any tv shows or movies I watch. I usually use Flixhq. I don't pay for Netflix or anything like that.

TV just doesn’t do it for me anymore. The news? Honestly, I’d rather run for cover than sit through dramatic fear-mongering or listen to that pillow salesman convincing me my neck’s future happiness depends on his product. As for medical commercials, I’m officially done hearing the 30-second horror stories of side effects—complete with soothing piano music. Why is TV like this?!

Streaming platforms are where it’s at. It’s about control: you choose what to watch, when to watch, and, most importantly, what to avoid. No ads telling me to buy pillows or warning me about potential “may cause emotional distress” issues with medications while I’m just trying to enjoy my popcorn.

I enjoy watching local news on TV, but besides that I generally find it boring, even assuming I have time to watch it.

And I also find classic shows (The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, ALF, Sanford and Son etc.) and those post-2005 cable dramas and comedies (Eastbound and Down, Vice Principals, Spartacus, Da Vince's Demons, etc.) very fun to watch, but I have little time. Who has seen that stuff?

I still watch TV, but only for a few shows. Sometimes, the advertisement is overwhelming and annoying. Still, I haven't found anything that beats live TV to date.

I enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty last fall, but at my new place, I can't find it listed.

I have not on my TV since last 6 months. I prefer reading than gluing my eyes to TV. Moreover, i will find it unacceptable to waste one hour watching movies or television shows.

The commericals on tv are annoying, but some streaming services also have advertisements as well.

The main thing is the mass amount of streaming services. I like Apple tv as their category has better content than others.

I still watch TV if there is something on the TV that I am interested in, if not I tend to instead use streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube.

One major reason why people shifted from traditional TV to streaming service is because they want to maintain control over the content they have access to. Irrespective of the fact that some streaming platforms do have ads but the ability to choose what and when to watch makes it better.
