It's true that gambling is a legal business backed by the law because the companies behind gambling pay big taxes to the government. Now, this doesn't mean that because they are paying taxes makes gambling good for the growing youths.

What are the effect of gambling advertisements on youth?

Gambling ads are too much these days, everywhere you turn now is “bet and win big” . I’ve seen young guys betting thinking it's an easy money, and end up regretting. This is exactly why I stopped taking those ads seriously.

I usually ignore advertisements, but I do pay attention to ads/promos on poker sites I play.

I agree. In fact, some of them go to the extent of stealing in order to see money they're going to gamble with. Sadly, they lose most of the time.

No, I don’t promote or support gambling ads. I sometimes gamble and can talk about gambling with friends and family but I don’t encourage it or help market it. There are real risks involved.

I do not allow gambling ads on my site. My sites are family friendly, and gambling isn't family friendly.

The way they are aggressively advertising gambling now, it is making it seem like gambling is a normal way of life. Gambling ads are shown everywhere, even where kids view. Kids might end up believing that gambling is normal. I think gambling ads should be strictly regulated to prevent this.
