Cricket is basically popular in Indian Subcontinent, few European countries, few African countries and Australia. If you follow cricket you might have noticed that the viewership is growing. Yet, it still far from being a global sports. Do you think cricket will become a global phenomena?

I don’t think Cricket can become a global phenomenon. It’s not talked about that much in the United States or surrounding countries just yet.

It would need a major push from a major company to become a global phenomenon.

I believe cricket has the possibilities of going global if there is more marketing done in some big countries like the United States. But it's definitely going to take time before this starts to manifest.

I think that cricket could become a global phenomenon in case if people in different parts of the Europe and United States start taking interest in the game. One of the t20 world cups took place in the United States. I really hope that cricket does become a global sport one day.
