The majority of players are sceptical of online poker. That is why they conduct proper research before choosing one. But I know that a reputable online poker adopts a random number generator for fair play.

Also, on your part, look for licensed and regulated operators and also transparent game mechanics. Don't ever fall for misinformation and always make sure to research well enough.

I use to blame the mechanics during run bad, especially when I played ACR, but as long as I know I'm playing against real players that aren't colluding I trust online poker. I'm skeptical about new sites, and even some sites that already exist. I only recommend sites that I trust such as StockPoker, DarkSidePoker, or PhenomPoker.

I completely understand your point. I like that fact that you mentioned that we need to thread with caution when it comes to new sites. I'm glad that you found trusted sites. That will alleviate lot of concerns.

I'm skeptical about all online poker sites after the God mode cheating...

I would rather play from a trusted source like MGM, if they ever opened (or could open) an online poker site.

But, I'm open to knowing about trusted ones to play in my free time. Got a lot of crypto I could turn into more, hopefully. 🤣

There's only a few sites that I trust with respectable owners that value player integrity. Obviously the ones I currently play on(StockPoker, and DarkSidePoker), but I also trust the big sites such as Pokerstars, GGPoker, or Partypoker. Pokerstars even paid the debt of FullTiltPoker when they purchased FullTilt years ago.

Poker clubs such as PokerBros, PPPoker, and ClubGG are known for having a good handler than disappearing. I would stay away from playing for real money on clubs, unless you are sure you can trust the club owner. Anyone can sign up to those apps, and start a club within minutes.

Which one would you trust with crypto if you just had to pick one? (So I don't need to balance so many sites at first)

I might dip my feet in with a little bit until I'm certain that they would pay out (supposing I win, of course).

Day trading crypto gets boring sometimes, chasing the fractions of pennies. It'd be nice to win a poker hand and eliminate tons of trades that I otherwise would've taken for a good pot, which I'd probably lose in day trading later on anyway. 🤣

I partially accept the fact that some of the online poker sites are more reliable than others. It's crucial to make your search and only play on sites with good reputation only.

What you have to make sure is to ensure that you're using a trusted poker site when playing. It's how to ensure that you don't lose your money to scammers because there are too many of them out there. PokerStars is one of best out there.

Long as the site itself doesn't look shady, then I'll play online. Though some sites do look sketchy.
Looks can be deceiving. I look for sites that I know are paying out. It'd suck to build up a bankroll, and not be able to withdraw my winnings. Some of the smaller sites always payout, but you still have to be careful on which sites you choose to play.

I still do not trust online poker that much but I can rely on some big poker sites like PokerStars and 888poker. People have no problems with their withdrawals on these platforms. For me, the reliability of the site and payment history used to be the main criteria for choosing an online poker site.

Some online poker sites are reliable, while others are not. Good thing I don’t play poker for money; I only play for fun. This means there’s really nothing to lose when I play casually. However, if you’re playing to earn money, it’s essential to check the site’s licensing and confirm that it’s legitimate. Furthermore, make sure the poker site has SSL certification and employs a random number generator, among other security measures.
