I often tighten up when the bubble hits or during hand-for-hand play, but I’m not afraid to make a move if I have a strong read and believe I’m ahead.
I believe scared money doesn’t make money, and I’m not playing tournaments just to min-cash. I’m playing to win from start to finish.
Tournaments are like a marathon; you need to be mentally prepared for the long run and accept the outcome. In the long term, variance rewards winning players.
Do you change your strategy during hand-for-hand play or on the bubble in an MTT?
