It's crucial to have a decent amount of rest, if you want to be on your best game. Playing tired is never a good idea. Make sure you're well rested before games, if you're not already doing so. Poker ain't going anywhere, you can play again after a good sleep.

Do you play poker when you're tired? Any other thoughts?

I have played when I am very tired. to your point playing well rested in the right move. I'm sure that i have had some good results while tired but I am sure that overall it's a losing play.

Is it advisable to even play anything while one is very tired? It will lead no where. Best is to get a good rest and jump into it when the tiredness wears off.

Sometimes the sicko in jus takes over and we play through it. You are correct though, it's generally a poor choice.

True, sometimes it can't be helped. Despite the tiredness, the desire to play is still there.

Facts. I think it's great to be passionate about things. So much so that you sacrifice a little rest. It's fun.

It's really a bad idea to play poker when tired. You won't really think clearly and you might make mistakes too. It's so important to get a good sleep and come back to the game with a freshed mind.
