Staying alert through long hours of poker is very important. I like to stretch and walk around during breaks to shake off fatigue. I also try to drink plenty of water and having healthy munchies.
 
Poker players should prevent fatigue by taking a break between games and staying hydrated.
 
Energy drink like Monster do help me to be full energized. After break, i do have few sticks of cigarettes to clear my brain of confusion and mental stress. I think every poker player suppose to devise how he will overcome fatigue and stress!
 
this may sound left field but if i know im going to play a long session, i have clothes called Skins i wear and it helps athletes keep there muscles warm when training and helps injuries etc. i know im not an athlete but we can prepare like one. i also smoke like a steam train to keep my emotions in check

good weed good clothes make ya feel good for the vibes, make a night of it. splash of cologne then splash the chips lol. the main thing for long endurance for me is trying to keep my heart rate base line as long as possible, once the heart speeds up you are playing off emotion more than skill often. this isnt for everyone but smoking weed helps keep my emotion docile and in check.
 
Taking short breaks and walking around really helps reset my mind. I keep water and snacks nearby so I don’t crash mentally. Switching positions while playing online is a small thing, but it makes a difference after a few hours.
 
I always approach poker like a workout. I make sure to schedule breaks every 90 minutes, and no circumstance can make me miss those breaks. It helps to revitalise my mental focus. And it has always been the reason that I am above tilt, no matter how I experience a bad beat on the poker table.
