Ever tried creating and running casino or gambling websites, even a casino-gambling niche blog or a forum? Well, I have never tried creating and running gambling and casino related websites but I have not only worked as a content creator for casino niche forum but also managed a casino blog. I have even managed a Casino related Facebook Page for a gambling website.

Honestly, I’ve never owned casino or gambling related site before. I don’t think I’d even be successful if I tried to launch a blog or anything in that niche.

Other than poker.community. I started a poker forum a long time ago called thepokertalk. I also had a few groups related to poker on Facebook. One of them was very successful, and I even sold it. I never started any casino sites though.

I use to mod for stockpoker on twitch and discord
Will modding for someone will that be classed as working for someone

No, can't say that I ever started/owned one. Though I have, on and off, over the decades written content on the topic of casino gambling, nightlife, and related. (Most of my writing career, however, has been in technology and other boring stuff though.) I've done moderator work for the forum portion of a casino's site too.

P.S. I actually remember ThePokerTalk referenced above. It was a cool community. :)

I would never want to own a poker website, unless it was just for fun, because of the legal ramifications behind it.

I'd talk with my lawyer first to see if he could help, and if not, see which law firm he'd recommend to outline terms of service, etc., and to get the proper licensing, if necessary, and even possible as a 1 man operation (without possibly having insurance or a bank account to pay out, as you need with running an insurance company [I think $10 million in the bank to start one of those]).

I haven't run one but I have seen several casino websites. It's even surprising that some have google AdSense incomporated. How is that possible? The site would be to share news and strategies related to gambling.

Used to be partners on a poker forum called Staking Aces back in the full tilt days. Basically we put people with money to stake together with people that could win them money and we all did pretty well back then. After the full tilt disaster that it was and poker stars not allowing us players after that we just shut it down but dam those were the days we used to have a shitload of fun and money was floating everywhere. was so easy to find people who would stake you in all kinds of games.

They’re in compliance with some of Google Adsense’s policy, so they’re allowed to run ads.

Gambling ads must target approved countries, have a landing page that displays information about responsible gambling, and never target minors. Check local regulations for the areas you want to target.
Below are some examples of gambling-related content that we allow only under certain conditions.
