This is a common phenomenon in football betting. You have to wait till the very final game on your ticket is over. There are bet tickets that every game has played and the last game is still on. And five minutes from the game to end, your bet ticket is in a winning position. But things just happen. And within five minutes, your ticket is losing. And the game ends with your bet losing.

Have you ever experienced this? How did you feel? And how did you handle such disappointment?

It have happened to me on several occasions! I have lost count. There is nothing as heartbreaking like losing a winning bet within some few minutes!. It is easy way to get heart attack!🙈🙈🙈🙈

I understand how that feels. You have already counted the bet as won only for it to cut with such little time left for the bet to have played. You feel like seeing the player that was at fault for your loss and giving him a befitting punishment.

But that is part of the game of sports betting. I have come to master it and I now always wait for the final whistle before I can count my bets as won or not.

It is Erling Haaland that scored a goal at around 87 minutes to cut my ticket of under 2.5 . Once i bet against Erling Haaland, i hardly win that bet. I have learn not to bet against him

Yes, far too many. The worst it ever happened is when my whole ticket was spoiled by a last minute penalty. It was so painful but it's part of the game.

I played Liverpool to win or draw against Crystal Palace. And the bet was winning around five minutes for the match to end. Crystal Palace scored in stoppage time and the bet was lost. It was an accumulated bet. All the other seven games had played. That one game ruined the whole ticket.

This one hits deep even though I don’t bet. I’ve seen people go through that heartbreak and honestly it’s rough. Five minutes of hope turning into disappointment can mess with anyone’s head. For me, if I imagine myself in that situation, I know I’d need a moment to breathe. I’m the type that steps back, lets the emotions settle, and reminds myself that I didn’t control the match in the first place. When something is out of my hands, I don’t let it rule my mood for long. I’d probably laugh it off later and say “life pulled a fast one again".
