As far as am concerned, it is a suicidal mission except if you inherited millions of dollars! Such idea have never crossed my mind. Though, i will love to , but it is very obvious it is highly unsustainable. Even professional gamblers have businesses thst they are managing. I doubt if they solely depend on gambling as means of livelihood.
 
To play poker professionally, one needs to be highly skilled in poker, be disciplined and have proper bankroll management skill.
 
I've thought about it during good runs, but honestly it scares me too much. Having no steady income or benefits would stress me out and probably make me play worse. I like poker as a side thing where I can take risks without worrying about paying rent. Maybe someday though!
