Uncertain situations have sometimes made me fold, especially when I realize the odds might not be in my favor. Better save the bankroll for better chances.
Do you usually do this?
 
Nah, I don't ever consider my bankroll when playing individual hands. If you do you can't afford the game you're in.
 
I've folded hands that I probably would've played if it wasn't before the money, but typically I play to win, and I'm willing to risk my tournament life/chips for a good opportunity to double up.

Just see it as me being on the safer side. I'm not somebody that likes to take too much risks 😩
 
I totally agree with you because folding can be smart. If you think of your bankroll as your personal piggy bank. It's like saving it for when you have a better shot at winning.
