The author worked with renowned poker champions incliding Chris Moorman. The book explore techniques that will help a poker player maximize luck, confidence and skill. According to the author, poker is more of psychological and therefore for you to win, you must know how to read other players.

The book, Poker Genius by Dr. Simpson was one of the earliest resources I was able exposed to when I started out poker. Read it cover to cover. Was complex at first. But the more I understood poker, and kept reading the book, the more I found it valuable. He gave clear instances on why you need to master your mindset and understand the psychology of your opponents on the table. Highly recommended.

I haven't read it but it sounds quite interesting. The book is focus on the psychological aspects of poker. So, reading the opponents and managing emotions is what you stand to learn there.
