I believe being conservative with your bankroll is in your best interest, losses sting less when you’re only risking a small portion of it. I always encourage players to stay strict with their bankroll management.

Do you think a more aggressive approach is better?

Nah, too much aggression early in bankroll building can destroy your confidence very fast. I tried pushing limits once, entering spots above my comfort, telling myself growth needs risk and it ended badly. A slow and steady build may look boring, but it keeps you in the game. Reckless approach just shortens the journey, it’s as simple as that.

I think you should be selectively aggressive, not constantly aggressive.
When building a bankroll, the real edge comes from two things, one, a good game selection and two, avoiding unnecessary risk.

If you're okay reloading, take more shots. If every dollar counts, slow and boring wins. I tried being aggressive early on and busted twice. Now I'm more patient. Learn from my mistakes or make your own, just don't lie to yourself about the risk.
