I use to feel sleepy when working online for long hours! As much as i try to stay awake, i will still be struggling with sleep. How do you stay awake especially working online during the night!

Listening to music and drinking something that has some type of caffeine generally helps when I'm feeling sleepy while working online.

Chrome and Brave are pretty good browsers. I don't use whatsapp that much as I prefer to use Discord or Fb messenger.

Energy drinks also help me stay awake longer.

I'm unable to drink energy drinks, so i stick with coffee or soda. Energy drinks aren't good for my high blood pressure or high cholesteral levels. My medical doctor told me that I can't drink them a few years ago, so I avoid drinking them, smh.

Which energy drinks do you prefer to drink? Red bulls or monsters? I used to drink Monsters.

I stay alert while working online by taking short breaks and exercising. Anytime I notice that I want to fall asleep, I do a little bit of exercise to stay awake.

Listening to music is something I find helps keep me motivated and awake when I am feeling sleepy while working. I also drink something with caffeine in, and I am sure that I eat as well to keep myself feeling active.

What’s the latest that you’ve ever stayed up working?

I always have a cup of peanuts and water that I hold when working online. Taking one bit of peanut while I am actively working online tends to keep sleep away. I try to drink water within 30 minutes interval as I work online. That's has really helped me to keep sleep away working online.

Do peanuts have caffeine as well? I’ve never tried this method, but I’m curious as to how well it works.

A simple answer is get a good sleep at night. Sometimes feeling too much sleepy can be a result of vitamin and mineral deficiency. Check Zinc and Magnesium in your body.
