Tilt is a common problem that many poker players face in game of poker. It can lead to poor decision making especially as regard to bankroll management. How do you deal with tilt especially in online poker game?

Setting a stop loss is the best way that I use to deal with tilt in poker. I try as much as I can to always be disciplined to the loss limit that I have set when I am playing poker online. And it has really helped me deal with Tilt.

I think the best thing is to recognize when you're tilting and just stop playing immediately. Take a break, go for a walk, or do something else. When I'm angry, I make terrible decisions and chase losses. Sometimes I set loss limits beforehand to force myself to quit.

Don't be resulted oriented when you play. Bankroll management helps a ton with not tilting, because with good brm you're only losing a small percentage of your bankroll, if you don't cash.

When tilt comes knocking, I log out immediately. There is no use chasing losses. When I am stressed, I tend to take a fresh air outside and drink enough water. That refreshes my mind.

I 100% agree, BRM is everything to prevent short term tilt, play within your bankroll and you avoid alot of issues that have a domino effect longer term.

For me, tilt is all about recognizing it early. Once I feel it creeping in, I step away from the table. I can take a walk, listen to music, or just clear my head. I try not to play when my emotions are running high because that’s when mistakes happen, especially with bankroll decisions. Resetting mentally before getting in will be more productive.

One thing about online poker is that everything moves so fast. And there is greater possibility of tilting with online poker. For me, I set out a routine and try everything to stick to that routine in order to manage tilt in online poker. I make sure that I take a break after every big pot regardless of if I won or lost. I am very strict with session limits too. That one really helps me not to chase losses.

Tilt can practically stress you out, but I have learned the importance of identifying the cause and paying attention to it. When I am frustrated or under any kind of pressure, I walk away and take a deep breath. Sometimes, I may even meditate or probably stroll a little to clear my thoughts.
